The long awaited pond is finally taking shape. A few volenteers, a sunny Saturday and thanks to our new neighbour and pond expert Ryan we have the makings of a fabulous wild pond. Not only did Ryan pretty much install everything (with a little help from a couple of others) he also supplied just about all of the materials needed, such as pond fleece, liner and a crate of boulders!.
So huge thanks Ryan and Charterhouse Aquatics.

We have also had a couple visitors this week, a 'Water Boatmen-Backswimmer' and a 'Broad Bodied Chaser' dragonfly (Click on photos below to enlarge).

We're hoping to have the pond just about finished for the 'Queens Jubilee' Sunday picnic event, fingers crossed.
