Not a bad attendance on Sunday for our ‘Jubilee Big Picnic Lunch’ considering a lot of people may have overdosed on Jubilee events and the weather wasn’t great. However the afternoon went well with people catching up, picnicking, playing some lawn games and consuming a fair amount Prosecco.

The ‘Queens Green Canopy Plaques’ were unveiled by a local lad Jacob and the star attraction was our newly installed pond. The pond looks even better in the sunshine , do pop into the orchard and enjoy watching out for pond life, the visiting dragonflies, damselflies and possibly grey wagtail’s feeding by the waters edge.
