The pond is looking great in only five weeks with about two dozen water plants including a native ‘Alba’ water lily. Some of the edging has been planted with ‘Creeping Jenny’, which has taken well. We’ve had plenty of wildlife visitors and a few taking up residence in the water i.e pond beetles and midge larvae. This morning we saw a ‘Common Newt’.
