Orchard really starting to wake up now.
May 1st produced our first new season of Large Red Damselflies hatching (five that I saw). Great tit is using the Blue tit box. Male Pheasant seems very tame (only here for the food). We have two Hedgehogs wondering around (see video below). The female Fox visits most nights, this time we had two Hedgehogs as well, see video below.
We have a few male Orangetip butterflies visiting, waiting to see the females. There has been a couple of sightings of the female muntjac with fawn. The fruit blossoms are in various states, some have gone and some just peaking. Grass is going mad as is the Mole and weeds!!
Fruiting hedges are great in some places, not so good at top West corner.
