Not a bad turn out of volunteers this Saturday, despite the blasted windy conditions, most doing their favourite jobs (WEEDING!). Possible new volunteer popped into to have a look around. Paths, new fruit tree circles, top grass area mown and edges trimmed.

Orchard looking quite good, need to look at clearing and shaping the large bramble down the bottom on east side, getting a bit out of hand and attempting to grow through nieghbours hedge.

Removed all plastic protective tubes from new hedge whips, most looking good, although we seem to have lost a few.

Looks like there could a good crop of fruit after all, especially apples.

Caught a couple of new visitors to the orchard, a ‘White Letter Hairstreak’ and a ‘Female Banded Damselfly’ (see images below).
