The two new fruit trees seem to be doing well with the ‘Crab Apple’ showing nice fresh growth. Burnt a fair amount of rubbish on a bonfire. Put up the new 5 star bug hotel built and donated by Alan Gibson of Wadesmill. The existing bee blocks have been revamped and fresh new bee blocks added to the revamped wine box. Wild flower area dug over and wooden edging installed (made from parts of the old gate) to help prevent weeds and grass from taking over. A new cast iron seat donated by a couple from Ware (wooden slats need replacing). New pond viewing bench made from a piece of thick donated timber, painted black and bolted to tree stumps.
